The saddening sight of falling autumn leaves remind us that as humans we should be steadfast, hold our ground, and resist falling apart. SocialDice is spicing up autumn. We have started the season by launching SocialDice’s Arabic Blog, and making it 3rd place in Forbes report on the 50 Startups to Watch in The Arab World.
Our team has also participated in the Arab youth startup marketplace event at Dubai which opened the door to more events in both Palestine and United Arab Emirates.
- Startup Huddle at Birzeit university- Palestine
SocialDice was recently invited as one of 6 startups to “Startup Huddle” as part of the Global Entrepreneur Week activities. This event aimed to present the business models of the most successful Palestinian startups. The audience was mainly consisting of students, people with business ideas, entrepreneurs that have launched their startups, business Leaders, and Others!
Each startup leader had 15 minutes to talk about his business model and answer the audience’s questions. If you missed it, you can still watch it on our Facebook page.

The Get in the Ring Foundation provides the most fun and effective way for startups and innovators to connect and create impact! It is a real innovation arena, where innovators fight for glory.

- Entrepreneur Day 2017
Entrepreneur Day is a two-day event that gathers the best and brightest from the MENA startup scene to DTEC. DTECT is the largest technology hub in the region for an annual celebration of entrepreneurship.
SocialDice was among the finalists to pitch at this event, and it went great!
8 teams from 8 Palestinian universities competed in developing applications/ prototypes for the private sector as business solutions.
The role of SocialDice was to address a business challenge or a business development suggestion that one of the assigned universities teams can work on to be represented at the Tech Camp event.
UAE careers by world trade center, and Tawdeef by Informa are two big events that are upcoming soon, stay tuned for big news!
