  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Responsibilities:
  • Lead / manage IT staffing including: recruiting, interviewing, scheduling, review process, performance coaching, disciplinary actions, etc.
  • Lead the IT sourcing strategy and provides oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management; work with procurement and oversee the negotiation and approval of all IT vendor contracts; and the subsequent administration of the contracts; maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors
  • Review and ensure compliance with client contracts which involve business continuity, security, data privacy and technology requirements
  • Develop and maintain an IT workforce with the appropriate mix of business knowledge, technical skills and competencies that balance the needs between growing the agility required to achieve digital business objectives and ensuring the core IT functions and current portfolio of systems/platforms are reliable, stable, secure and efficient
  • Identify and recommend new technology solutions that we can implement in our department
  • Coach and direct IT team members in operational activities to ensure they meet and work to corporate and department goals, and compliance with the approved budget
  • Direct and support implementation of software and hardware upgrades

  • Ability to instill confidence in the business and demonstrate the business value of IT
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative group to identify and solve problems
  • Understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business and how they may be applied to the enterprise to drive digital business.
